What is Mira Dry?
The miraDry® system uses thermal energy that targets and destroys the sweat glands, odor glands, and hair follicles in your underarm. Once those glands are eliminated, they do not grow back. This results in reduced sweat, odor, and hair growth under your arm.
Local anesthesia is administered to the underarms prior to treatment for patient’s comfort.
How many treatments?
Two treatments are recommended for optimal results, but some patients might need additional treatments.
What does it feel like?
Under local anesthesia clients don't mention any pain! The device does need a good grasp of the skin, so at most you will feel pressure on the treatment area but nothing severe!
What is recovery like?
​For the first week after your treatment, you should not shave your underarms or use deodorant. You also should not engage in any strenuous activity.You may experience swelling, numbness, bruising, and sensitivity in the underarm area for several days after your treatment.
